Peak Baggers in Training
Today was Seku Day. The daughter of one f my colleagues from Mongolia was visiting for a week. Today was her last weekend day with us. So we asked, “what would you like to do? It is your day.”
She said, “something typical for Americans”.
Being a lovely summer day, we decided to climb Mt. Wachusett. Karen had to work at the UCC church today, so it was me and the Kidz.
With Sonya in tow, I wanted to hike somethingaccomplishable. We drove about halfway up and took a steep trail to the top that was about 3/4 of a mi long.
It was rocky and hard for her at first. She persisted, nevertheless.
As Sonya would say, “I DID IT!”
Here’s the proof.
Whoo-hoo!
Tag, you’re it!
Happy Birthday, Sonya!
Hard to believe our girl is 3 years old already! Still the reigning world champion hugger.
Apparently all the cool kids today wear: birthday sunglasses!
